Precision with
a Softer Edge
Mother-of-pearl and diamonds bring light to the Saxonia’s measured proportions. Behind the softer appearance lies the detail of Lange’s movement finishing.

The Saxonia is often appreciated for its clear proportions. This 2014 example introduces a different expression through mother-of-pearl and a diamond-set bezel.
Light becomes part of the design. The dial changes with the viewing angle, while the stones trace the outline of the case.

Craft Beyond the Dial
The sapphire case back reveals the automatic calibre L086.4. Glashütte ribbing on the German silver three-quarter plate and a hand-engraved balance cock offer a different kind of detail.
The front is defined by light and surface. The reverse invites attention to finishing and construction. Together, they give this Saxonia more than one way to be appreciated.
A Measured Composition
The 37 mm white gold case holds a straightforward display of hours, minutes and small seconds. Applied baton markers maintain the clarity of the dial.
Sixty-eight brilliant-cut diamonds bring a more decorative character to the familiar Saxonia form. The appeal lies in how these materials sit within its controlled proportions.
Light in Everyday Motion
The mother-of-pearl dial has a quality that a single photograph can only partly capture. Its appearance shifts with the position of the wrist, while the surrounding diamonds respond differently to the same light.
The white alligator strap continues the pale palette. It gives the watch a coherent setting and allows the changing character of the dial to remain central to the experience.
